Tablet: The Oprah of the Internet

Move over social media, iPhone, and QR codes there’s a new kid in town; the tablet.  The tablet will revolutionize the way people send, receive, and obtain information therefore, I have dubbed it the Oprah of the internet.  Since the introduction of Apple’s iPad last year, several tablets have made it to market, but which is the best one for you? I researched each tablet’s features, reviews, and pros and cons and put them in a snazzy table.

Just make sure you ask yourself what you really want and need in a tablet.

Whoos and Boos

WhoosWhoo
The Xoom will likely emerge as the leader one developer begin to optimize more applications for the Android Operating System. Props for the large display screen and the multimedia capabilities.

BoosBoo
Major fail for the LG G-Slate at $700 if you opt not to get a contract with T-mobile, yikes. Another boo for Apple’s iPad2 that comes with a sub-par camera.  Wired Magazine let people know just how bad the iPad 2 camera really is.

Hopefully the chart helps you decide.  My swing goes slightly toward the Xoom, but only because the Android Operating System is much more viable in the future.  Google really needs to recognize its strengths and capitalize on them.  It truly could be the iPhone/iPad killer.  Check out Cnet’s video on tips for shopping for a tablet.
